Lost Paradise Janitor
Greetings and welcome to LPgrid. On November 19, 2011 the grid was online for the first time. It consisted of 6 regions and
when Azure was able to join me here I could hardly contain my excitement.
I had started out in Second Life three years prior and always felt that there could be a better way of doing things. So I read and researched everything I could find about Virtual Worlds downloaded the source code for OpenSim compiled and installed it. A Grid was born! From those humble beginnings the grid has now grown to 3171 Regions in 102 Estates. It seems new additions happen every day. From those two original users we have happily grown to 1709 User accounts as of today. With
a total of 6163 Unique Visitors (based on different visitor IP addresses )
The Core members have all worked extremely hard to provide you with the best possible OpenSim experience you can have and I wish to personally thank them for
all their hard work, suggestions and dedication to the grid. It is very much appreciated as they have made Lost Paradise what it is today.
